Still can’t over with last weekend’s gala.

Since I don’t have ‘that much’ money to spend, I went with my Uncle. He works at Metropolitan Manila as an instructor and CI. (I really don’t know what that means. Haha) We left Laguna at 4AM and since he has to work in the morning, I decided to go to my mom’s place in Makati first. And then the story goes.. :))

To go to my mom’s place, you ride the LRT bus then get off at dela Rosa, then walk until you reach Buendia where you’ll see a tricycle TODA. And yes I did that, went down at a place that seemed to be dela Rosa then it turned out that I shouldn’t be there. I walked like 3 times longer than I supposed to and colored the right leg of my white pants black.

ANYway, I was able to go to my mom’s place. I don’t know how long I’ve walked but it made my mom panic. It was funny though.

I just slept and woke up to go to Robinson’s Manila. My Uncle’s there waiting for me. Then he had me as his guest at Fitness First where I ‘worked out’, played with the pieces of equipment (I did play with those) and the most FUN part was the group workout in a form of Dancing. We did Rhumba, hip-hop and a lot more. :)

The next day, I went to HotNails at New Manila – by myself. I am proud to say I didn’t get lost but it was worth a lot of questions to guards and strangers. Thank you, thank you whoever you are. :D

The most unforgettable moment:  I got splashed with water (dirrrty water) caused by a fast vehicle. From then I knew, it does happen! LOL.

After the pampering, I went to Trinoma to meet Erwin. He made me wait for an hour and a half. To tell you, that’s the lower bound of the range. It’s [1.5hrs, 6hrs+++ infinity). It almost made me cry. Hahaha. Never got used to it. When he arrived, we ate at World Chicken (his treat) and went to the cinemas and seen (500) Days of Summer. He paid for the tickets, too. Hahaha. Lucky ME!

‘Twas past 9PM when I decided to go home. I lost on my way, Erwin told me that when I get down MRT, I would just walk straight and after a few moments I’ll see the bus station. But NO! Later did I find out that I had to cross the foot bridge – after I got cold sweat and shaky tears which were afraid to fall from my eyes. Hehe.

TOTAL ADVENTURE!

I was never into books, really. Just seeing how those words, but not just words but plenty of WORDS, crowd themselves up into each of the pages of any book make me drowsy and after a little while – lithely travelling through the realm of the subconscious. My desire to go into my 2nd most pleasurable state(sleeping, for me) is so strong that only using the computer can stop it, which apparently is my most pleasured state. UGH. What exactly am I talking about!!

Moving on, this is such a drastic change for a person like me who used to LOATHE letters-printed-in-pages-bound-together-wrapped-with-a-cardboard-thing. NOW I CHOOSE TO READ RATHER THAN TO SLEEP, and take note: to READ while inside the jeep. I’m definitely proud of myself to be able to resist from sleeping the fact that the place I loved to sleep the most is while I am INSIDE MOVING VEHICLES.

So much for the blabbering.. I created an account at shelfari.com where I keep track of the books I’m reading, I’ve read and I’m planning to read. AS I entered the venue, the clamor produced by the combination of the loud voices of my classmates who were shouting even though they weren’t even a rule a part made me very happy and nostalgic. I missed that kind of din that rips my ear drums apart. That’s how the STAR section of batch 2008 behaves. Is that something to be proud of? HAHA.

We ate Sisig, Chopsuey and Ginataang Isda. Even while eating, I still heard hilarious punch lines from my classmates that sometimes were referring to out terror adviser that we didn’t invite. Is that on purpose anyway? HAHAHA. Anyway, after the “feeding” program for the noisy pigs, we tried to have games that are unsuccessful. But the Gossip Girl part that was led by me was really FUN! We had pictorials (LOTS OF IT) after.

We don’t fall into temptation, we DIVE into it.

That’s what I learned about today’s fellowship. It simply means that it is our own choice when we let temptations get the best of us. Having a strong foundation with God will keep us from it. :)

About the title, uhh, I just don’t know what to put there so I just thought of what happened to me a while ago while I was riding the jeepney on my way home. He he. It was freezing! Brrr. Oh well, just got my our computer fixed. Some undetected virus destroyed it, thus, the only way to fix it is to gave it formatted. Anyway, it wasn’t a thing to worry about ‘coz I automatically save all my files on the other hard disk (not on C:). Usually, it’s only C: which goes to the delete-all-files thingy.

Some things that shouldn’t be forgotten for the past few weeks/days:

• FIRST TIME to earn some bucks from my site! Received $10 +P800 from sponsored posts. xD
• Topped the Psychology1 long exam. Yippeeee! On the other hand,
• Got my first failing exam at DevComm10, my major subject. (–least liked subject. aww)
• Passed all the other exams except “that” one.
• Our college secretary is planning to prohibit shifting to other courses!! (wanted to cry after hearing this. hahaha)
• First time to join a Quiz Contest. Guess what, it’s about DevC10! Hahahaha! We were kind of forced to join because of the incentive. LOL. ‘Twas fun tho. A new experience for me. xD
• Watch UAAP 2008 last Sunday. I screamed so hard I got my head aching. UP is the indisputably  best!! I felt the UP blood rushing into my body when I was there. Oh my, I just can’t wait to watch for the next season.
• Attended American-English Speaking workshop last Monday.
• What else? I guess there’s nothing left. :)

Flor, Jolly, Marione and I

Uhh. Last Saturday, my classmates and I went to a field trip at Tagaytay. There we went to Brahma Kumaris, a spiritual learning center located there. The trip is for my PSY1 class and my teacher said that it’s a lot related to our subject ‘coz it will enable us to explore ourselves. Yeah, right.

We arrived at around 8am and had some briefing. After that, we had some pansit with i-dunno-what-kind-of mushroom! At first I ate it and it was pretty weird then Jolly, my classmate, started telling me that it was FROG’s skin! But yeah it looked like one and made some feeling of disgust in me, so I placed all the mushrooms on the side of my plate. LOL.

We did some meditations and so-so but then I think I wasn’t able to concentrate. I’m not into such stuff that’s why I just grabbed my pen and solved some math equations. I’ve always been practicing since then ‘coz I have to improve my Math skills (do I even have that?! haha) to prepare for being a ComSci student, hopefully.

We were all very hungry and can’t wait for lunch. Around 12.30pm, we found out that we’ll be eating some FRIED MUSHROOM and OKRA! Oh goodness. I lost my appetite. I can’t imagine having MUSHROOM SNACKS late in the afternoon. I guess I don’t have to detail all the crazy things we did. Hehe.

I was about to post this yesterday but then my head suddenly ached so painfully, then my arms and hands got numb, I puked and then fell asleep. Now, I’m pretty okay. :) It always happens.

Yesterday, I crashed at Gany’s place at Nagcarlan. It was a 40-minute trip but nothing can stop my feet that was reaaaally itchy. Hahaha! We watched a little part of 1 Liter of Tears, a Korean series which she highly recommend and that had made her depressed for some days after watching. I brought home with me lots of food – Buko salad, refrigerated cake, baked mac and “peanut butter” cake. Thanks Ganyfer!

By the way, the Dorado sisters had performed a surgery involving two newly-born kittens.

The kitten’s placent tied them together and they were crying a lot so Ate Charley had to cut it using a blade. Ugh!

That night, I met with Molly and rode the Ferris Wheel. It wasn’t as scary as before when I rode it the first time. Hahaha! The town’s fiesta will be on June 4
that’s why we have some rides at the plaza and lots of stores along the road.

Ma’am Liza who was also roaming around the perya along with Jessa treated us some Hot fudge at McDo. Hehe. XD
